POLICE have charged a woman over the alleged stabbing of a man in the Riverina last night.

Just after 7.15pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to a home on Ford Street, Ganmain, after reports of a domestic-related stabbing.
A 52-year-old man was treated by paramedics for a stab wound to the back, before being flown to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from the Riverina Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Investigations led to the arrest of a 37-year-old woman at the scene, who was taken to Wagga Police Station.
She was charged with reckless wounding (DV), resist officer in execution of duty (DV) and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic).
The woman was refused bail to appear before Wagga Bail Court today, May 24.
