POLICE have charged a man with child sex offences following an investigation into the alleged indecent assault of three young girls in Wagga.

Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation in August 2019 following reports a man had allegedly indecently assaulted children in his care between 2015 and 2016.
A man in his 40s was arrested at a correctional facility in Silverwater about 3pm Thursday, May 14, following extensive investigations.
He was charged with eight counts of indecent assault person under 16 years of age, two counts of observe person in private act without consent (aggravated) and two counts of commit act of indecency with person under 16 years.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wagga Local Court via video link today.
