Last week Delightful Jackie drew nine in what looked like the hardest of the five heats at Riverina Paceway last week and she has done so again for Friday.
Now she has to contend with the likes of Brooklyns Best and Red, who were both well-favoured coming into the series.
"Last week I would have said they split all the better ones up but this week I think they nearly put the three in together," Harpley said.
Coming into the series off two straight wins, Delightful Jackie finished fifth behind Western Sonador.
The Junee trainer-driver wasn't thrilled with the regally-bred mare's performance.
"I was a bit disappointed as I thought she would go better than that," Harpley said.
"She did overrace early on but I thought she was on the improve and I was disappointed. Her overall mile rate wasn't bad herself, it was 56 something, but I was hoping for a front row draw in a suitable race to really she where she was up to."
Harpley is unsure of where his mare gets to from the inside of the second row draw and just hopes the tempo will suit.
A three-quarter sister to millionaire Frith, Delighful Jackie is looking to be the third mare from the family to win in the past week.
Harpley has to wait until the final heat to try his fortunes but has two other horses engaged earlier on the eight-race card.
