The $101 chance defied punters, and her rivals, to score at big odds in the Vale Don Inwood Pace (1740m).
A winner at Canberra three starts, and with a third at Wagga last time out, trainer-driver Nathan Hoy wasn't surprised to see her win again.
"She has always been honest but done a lot of racing around Canberra and Young, the smaller track where she will go around and sit parked," Hoy said.
"She's always been fairly tough and keeps coming so I wasn't surprised with that."
However he was concerned by the space between her runs.
It had been over three weeks since her last start as the Young horseman has struggled to secure a run.
Believing the mare races better with more racing, he was pleased with her efforts to come from the tail of the field.
"I was a bit worried as she normally races twice a week as she is normally a bit over the top," Hoy said. "That usually takes the sting out of her so I've been trying to work her hard at home in between races and it suited.
"They went hard early and they went hard along the back and she was able to work into and just got there."
It was tight go but Seelster Shannon held off Postal Run ($16) coming down the sprint lane to win by a half head.
It took the mare 24 starts to bring up her first win, but Hoy didn't have to wait as long this time around.
While the mare won a bolter's odds the same couldn't be said for Major Roll who shaped up for the Wagga Pacers Cup with another victory.
The $1.28 chance scored a comfortable win in his first start in almost two months for Mirrool trainer-driver Stephen Maguire.
Maguire was pleased with how he performed as he looks to add a Wagga feature to those won at Junee and Coolamon already this season.
"I was happy with his run," Maguire said.
"He never really had any time off from his Menangle run but has just been ticking over to see what was going to happen and it didn't take me much to get him back to where he is."
Maguire was initially going to head straight to next week's feature, but elected to give the four-year-old a proper hit out.
