Southern Inland have dominated the annual series against Monaro and South Coast, winning the last nine titles.
Played annually over the June long weekend, a decision was made on Tuesday to call it off.
The new follow up tournament, the Capital Cup, which is played for at the end of the season, also won't got ahead.
With no rugby activities until June 1, Brumbies general manger of community rugby Craig Leseberg said the decision was made to allow the zone to continue their plans to conduct meaningful club competitions as soon as it can be safely done.
"Our focus will be to continue our modelling and planning to ensure that once the situation allows we are in a position as a union to administer meaningful competitions for all our clubs and teams to participate in for the balance of 2020," Leseberg said.
"The recent National Cabinet endorsement and release of the AIS framework for the reintroduction of sport in Australia has provided a vastly more positive outlook."
Leseberg urged players, volunteers and supporters to remain patient and safe during the difficult period.
