Beauticians are now allowed to reopen their doors to sell their products, however services such as manicures and waxing are still under the coronavirus ban.
Nevertheless the easing of restrictions comes as great relief for Beauty and Health Focus owner Kim Martens-Shaw, who was able to reopen her doors after being closed for weeks.
"It will be good for all beauty therapists in Wagga," Ms Martens-Shaw said.
"Most beauty therapy salons are local businesses run by local people, so it's really good that locals can support us so that when this is all said and done we will still have businesses up and running."
For the past few weeks she has been relying on her online sales to make ends meet, but will now be able to sell her products in-store.
In other news:
Sirona Beauty owner Sarah Treanor also reopened her doors on Saturday, but said she was still bracing herself for tough times ahead.
"To be honest, retail isn't one of our highest income earners but I've decided to reopen to keep our face out there," Ms Treanor said.
"I'm still very lucky to have a job on the side and to have two wonderful girls, Georgia and Chelsea, running the shop - I know they can't wait for things to get back to normal."
