A man has appeared before court following an alleged altercation involving a firearm last weekend.

About 3.30pm on April 26, a 30-year-old man was driving through Moama in the south of the region.
He noticed another man, aged 35, driving a Nissan utility vehicle behind him.
Both drivers, who are known to each other, pulled over and exited their vehicles before engaging in an argument.
Police have been told the older man then allegedly produced a firearm, pointing it at the other driver. He then left the scene.
Officers attached to the Murray River Police District were notified and began investigating.
On Friday afternoon, police executed a search warrant at a home on Old Barmah Road in Moama.
A number of items, including a Nissan utility, two firearms and ammunition were seized.
A 35-year-old man was arrested, taken to the police station and charged with a number of offences.
The charges include the use of an offensive weapon with the intent to commit a serious indictable offence, possession of unregistered firearm in public and intimidation.
He was refused bail and appeared via video link at Wagga Local Court on Saturday.
