Wagga police Inspector John Aichinger said the pursuit began about 1am Monday after officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a random breath test.
"Police attempted to stop a 1999 white Ford Fairlane for an RBT, but the driver failed to stop and sped away from police along Yentoo Drive in Glenfield," he said.
The vehicle then drove along Red Hill Road, onto the Olympic Highway, and various other roads through Wagga reaching speeds of 110-120km/h in 50-60km/h zones.
"The pursuit was terminated shortly after for safety reasons," Inspector Aichinger said.
Police are now seeking the driver of the vehicle, with the registration CK55UY, as investigations continue.
