Waller is set to nominate a few from his stable for Friday week's $160,000 listed Wagga Gold Cup as he looks to win the race for a fourth time.

A two-time placegetter at group level this campaign, Savacool is a certain starter for the Waller camp in next week's Gold Cup.

Waller will also consider adding to his team, with Night's Watch, Yulong Prince and So You Win expected to be among the nominations when they are released at 11am on Friday.

Waller's racing manager, Jack Bruce, confirmed the stable's plans that squarely revolve around the Gold Cup.

"At this stage just the Cup," Bruce said.

"Kathy O'Hara will ride Savacool, who is chasing a listed win to go with her recent group placings.

"We also have Night's Watch, Yulong Prince and So You Win who are possibilities for the race.

"At this stage that will be all we bring down but as you know something can always pop up."

Kathy O'Hara will come out of two weeks self isolation on Sunday, a move she made to enter Racing NSW's southern region and be free to ride at both days of the Wagga Gold Cup carnival.

She will reunite with Savacool, who she has ridden twice earlier this preparation, including a third placing behind Nettoyer in the group three Aspiration (1600m) at Randwick.

The five-year-old mare travelled to Caulfield for her last start where she finished third behind Inverloch in the group three Easter Cup (2000m).

Waller has won the past two Gold Cups with Abdon and Life Less Ordinary, while he was also successful in 2014 with Trade Commissioner.

The champion trainer started out in Wagga when he first moved over from New Zealand.

Meantime, reigning Wagga Town Plate champion Ghostly is set to return to defend his crown next week for Sydney trainer David Pfieffer.

Ghostly resumed from a freshen up at Warwick Farm earlier this month as Pfieffer eyes another big carnival.
