Birdhouse Bar and Kitchen is taking its food and drinks on the road, turning the back of a Ute into a mobile kitchen.
Owner Scott Pearce said new liquor licensing regulations meant they could serve food and drinks as a takeaway service, but they wanted to find a fresh angle.
"Our point of difference at Birdhouse has always been our fresh food and homemade cocktails so we thought we'd stick to that and take the show on the road," he said.
From Thursday to Sunday each week, people are able to book a 45 minute sitting where the hospitality service comes to their home and prepares an order in their driveway.
In other news:
"We have a set menu and a few drink options, but it all has to be ordered in the one transaction, and people bring their own plates and cutlery to use," Mr Pearce said.
As word gets around, Mr Pearce said there was no shortage of support from the community.
"We are already booked out until May, and that's with five sittings a night," he said.
