The Englishman was set to return home last month, but has delayed his flight due to the coronavirus crisis.

He's unsure when it will be best to leave Wagga given the world health crisis.

"It is a lot more safe here," Frostick said.

"England is a very dense country, everything is close by and you can't really escape it, but over here you've got a lot of land where people can go to and not spread it around as much."

While it still isn't Plan A, Frostick hasn't ruled out another season with the Saints.

He led the way for the club this season as they fell one win short of the grand final.

Frostick finished as the competition's leading runscorer with an impressive haul of 688 runs at an average of 57.33 from 15 matches, including two finals.

He made 44, and took three wickets when they were knocked out in the preliminary final by South Wagga.

It was set to be his last match after two seasons with the club before the COVID-19 pandemic significantly worsened back home.

"You never know I could be here for another season," he said.

"I said if I was stuck here until September I might as well stay for another season.

"We will have to see.

"I'm just playing it by ear."

Originally booked to leave a fortnight ago, the 22-year-old is instead playing a waiting game.

While teammate and housemate James Evans returned to England with his partner on Tuesday, Frostick thought it would be best to stay in Wagga.

"I'm not stuck as I can go home but it is just a lot safer here," Frostick said.

"I've been speaking to my parents back home and they basically said to stay put as it is getting worse.

"I can't exactly go back into a job when I get home so I'm staying where I am.

"It could be two months, three months, six months, a year no one knows really."

Frostick has enjoyed the last two seasons in Wagga Cricket was looking forward to heading home and trying to set up a more permanent living situation.

"I wanted to settle down for a little bit and go home," he said. "My girlfriend was going to come over with me."
