Having her second start for the Ellen Bartley stable, Brooklyns Best was back at her best as she scored in a slick winning mile rate of 1:54.9.
Brooklyns Best ($1.50) sat outside the leader and pulled out plenty in the straight to win the Income Tax Professionals NR 65 Pace (1740m) by four metres.
The win was the first leg of a winning double for Bartley and driver Blake Jones, who were also successful with A Kerry Man ($1.70) in the TAB Odds & Evens NR 65 Pace (1740m).
A Kerry Man was also having just his second start for the Bartley stable and led throughout to score in a mile rate of 1:55.7.
Brooklyns Best, a group one placed mare, has thrived under the care of Bartley, who is a qualified equine sports therapist.
Meantime, Adam Richardson enjoyed his first winner at Riverina Paceway when he steered King Fisher ($3.50) to victory in the Riverina Security Solutions NR 55 Pace (2270m).
Richardson brought King Fisher up the sprint lane to down Caymangone ($9.50) by just under two metres.
Another of the more impressive wins of the night was Dust To Diamonds ($17) in the Sky Racing Active NR 55 Pace (2270m).
Miranda McLaughlin brought the Trevor White-trained pacer with one barnstorming run, as he ran away to score by 16 metres.
Wagga will race again on Sunday night, their third meeting of the week under the new regionalisation model.
