Across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, there have now been 40 confirmed cases from 1814 tests.
As at 8am on Thursday, there was one case confirmed in the Snowy Valleys, taking that local government area's tally to three.
A single new case in Berrigan Shire means there have been two confirmed cases in that area.
Hilltops Shire, which previously had no confirmed coronavirus cases, has had two confirmed in the latest figures.
Broken down by local government area, the Murrumbidgee's tally stands at:
- Albury: Six
- Berrigan: Three
- Cootamundra-Gundagai: One
- Federation: Seven
- Greater Hume: Two
- Griffith: Three
- Hay: One
- Hilltops: Two
- Murrumbidgee: Three
- Narrandera: One
- Snowy Valleys: Two
- Wagga: Nine
Those suffering acute, cold, flu-like symptoms who have recently returned from travelling or are a contact of a confirmed case are urged to be tested for the virus. To do this, call HealthDirect on 1800 0222 222 to be triaged and advised by a nurse over the phone. Alternatively, contact your GP to book an appointment and let them know in advance if you have symptoms - these might include fever, cough, runny nose or shortness of breath.
