Police and Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a Kooringal property late last night after a woman discovered a fire on her front porch.

At about 12.30am Wednesday morning, a 35 year old woman was home alone with her three children when she spotted the fire on through a CCTV camera directed at the front porch of her Ziegler Avenue home.
The woman headed outside and with the help of two passers-by was able to extinguish the fire.
Wagga Police Acting Inspector Steve Probst said the fire appeared to be deliberately lit and an investigation was underway.
