THE Miss Wagga Quest might have been postponed until next year, but the committee still hopes to find new ways to support its community during a challenging time.

Miss Wagga Quest chairwoman Ali Tanner said it was decided hosting fundraising events in light of the current situation was not in the best interest of the beneficiaries of the quest.
However, she said the committee and titleholders were looking at different options to continue their support for the community.

"We do have some lovely plans for Miss Wagga Hannah Smith and Community Princess Brittany Hackett this year that don't necessarily involve face-to-face contact, but still support and community presence," she said.
"The titleholders and committee are very much promoting local businesses.
"The money raised last year has already been distributed."
Mrs Tanner said the quest will return next year to give personal development opportunities to the "confident, willing and giving" young women who enter.
"It has been running for such a long time and we look forward to hosting the quest again when it is practical," she said.
The scheduled trip for Miss Wagga and Community Princess to visit the sister city of Leavenworth has also been put on hold.
"Miss Wagga and Community Princess will be travelling to Leavenworth as soon as practically possible and they look forward to the time when they can visit our sister city," Mrs Tanner said.
