All community netball matches have been suspended until May 2, and the Wagga Netball executive committee will meet after April 15 when another update from Netball NSW is expected.
The Farrer League and Riverina League competitions have been suspended until May 31, in line with recommendations given to community Australian Rules clubs.
Clarke said no competitions have been cancelled and is hopeful the sport is able to resume in time without any major disruptions.
"At the moment everything has just been postponed, we haven't cancelled anything," she said.
"We will probably change our format but our community netball will still go ahead in some capacity.
"We weren't due to start until May, so if we lose some time we'll think about how we change the format.
"We may have to change our Saturday and A-grade competitions, but we'll wait and see what date we're cleared to use our facilities again."
Clarke said the situation is particularly tough for junior players to accept.
"Being the Southern Sports Academy coach I'm struggling with some of my players well out in remote areas," she said.
"It hasn't really hit them what's happening except there's no sport for them, even at school. They just don't have that understanding of why it's happening."
