After his grandfather Aubrey died on Wednesday, Talbot was rapt with the $2.10 favourite's effort after hauling in early leader and runner-up Nippy Uno by half a length in the Supporters 1-3 Wins Heat One over 400m.

"It's only her sixth start and she found some traffic on the turn, but she's levelled up and come home well," Talbot said.
"It was for my granddad and it was a pretty special moment, actually."
In the opening race Julie French's favourite Sunlit Toad ($3.20) ended a run of three straight seconds after a fast start set up a two-length win over Dana Looney.
"He always jumps out good, he's been knocking on the door and he did it today," French said.
