There wasn't many on track to celebrate with them but it didn't make their first double any less sweet.
With only licensed participants able to access the track due to the coronavirus threat, the Junee pair scored a race-to-race double.
Procurement kicked things off by leading all the way and that only added to the stable's confidence heading into the next race with Mister Donald.
"We thought it would be tough today but when the other one won Bayley said 'if it can win then this one will definitely win' as he beats the other one in track work by 20 metres," Saul Duck said.
"It was no surprise."
He did just that after flying home late.
Cee Cee Ambro set a dawdling pace, but the four-year-old was still able to swamp her late after settling midfield.
With the final quarter clocked in 27.2 seconds, Duck was thrilled with the finishing effort.
"I would hate to see what his last quarter would be - in the 26s," he said.
"He went good and has pulled up good."
It backed up a win at Coolamon earlier this month.
Mister Donald's record now stands at .nine wins from 21 starts, with a further six placings but it first time he'd gone back-to-back.
"It is the first time he's ever won two straight but I always knew he was a good horse," Duck said.
While Duck was pleased to come away with the double, he was even more thrilled for his 20-year-old son.
Especially with all the hard work he puts into the horses while combining work as a roofer.
"It is good for Bayley as he roofs all week and works hard," Duck said.
"He starts at 5.30 and knocks off at 4.30 everyday then comes home and works them.
"So it was real good."
Duck is now looking to aim the par at riches coming up at Riverina Paceway in the coming months.
The region's first group one carnival of any code just two weeks is the first before the Million Dollar Pace.
However Duck is wary of getting too many national ranking points.
The Ducks success was the second double across the 10-race card with Goulburn trainer-driver Brad Hewitt taking some early spoils.
Dancelikeanangel finished off too strong for her rivals but Katamach embarrassed hers.
The $1.60 favourite took advantage of the fast early tempo as she came around from the back of the field to win by 18.4 metres.
Wagga trainer-driver Brett Hogan was also thrilled with Roll Out after a 16.1-metre victory.
