The association shortened the finals series early this week in order to bring forward the deciders, but the plan was scrapped on Wednesday.
A final call on premierships is set to be made on April 1, but minor premiers claiming the spoils is the likely option.
"We tried to move the grand final to this Saturday and we were heading toward that up until yesterday (Tuesday), but it was based on the health and safety of the members, players and spectators," Wagga Water Polo president Josh Paul said.
"We believe it will be the minor premiers in all grades that take out the competition.
"It's disappointing because it's always nice to finish with grand finals, but unfortunately we just couldn't do that and still be making responsible decisions."
Saturday's presentation night has also been cancelled, with the intention of it going ahead at a later date.
