The suspension period begins on Wednesday and concludes on Tuesday, April 14.
Football's Wagga's competitions were due to begin on the first weekend of April, which means the first two rounds will be affected.
It also means Wagga City Wanderers' round three FFA Cup clash with Woden Valley, scheduled to be held in Canberra on March 21, will also be postponed.
FFA chief executive officer James Johnson explained that while disappointing, reducing community gatherings would help slow the spread of the virus and that this was the driving factor in the decision.
"It follows discussions with Australia's state and territory member federations," Johnson said in a statement on Tuesday.
