"eBooks and Beyond - Adding Value to your Text" will teach the techniques Reiter has employed in his new release Time Lords Remixed, a digital combination of image, sound and poetry inspired by the long-running science fiction series Dr Who. As every Dr Who fan knows, a TARDIS is bigger on the inside than on the outside, and Reiter's work uses this notion to make interactive textual links to outside ideas and references, spanning more than 50 episodes of the TV show.
Tim Jones, co-editor of The Stars Like Sand: Australian Speculative Poetry, says "whether you're a proper Whovian or someone who's never encountered the doctor before, you're going to find plenty in Time Lords Remixed to intrigue, entertain and surprise you." For more information, or to reserve your free spot in this unique class, visit bit.ly/davidreiter, phone 6926 9700, or ask any library staff member.
