The National Emerging Art Glass Prize was started in 2010 to promote innovation and excellence from recent graduates and emerging artists working in the field of glass.
"The prize is recognised nationally and internationally as one of the premier events in Australian glass," curator Michael Scarrone said.
"As the home of the National Art Glass Collection, we are proud of the role that this award plays in promoting glass as one of Australia's most innovative artforms."

A survey exhibition of work from the Adelong Falls Ephemeral Art Day highlights a range of work from professional arts and students across the region.
This exhibition, Ripples, is on display in the E3 art space until Sunday, March 15.
This collective of artists work across a broad range of mediums and the group have been closely involved in supporting Adelong and surrounding communities after the recent fires that impacted these areas. This is also the final week to see Michael Agzarian's popular Global Melody Project, a contemporary exhibition connecting people across the globe through music. Global Melody Project is open until Sunday, March 22.
