In a rematch of last year's decider Mater Dei face Kooringal High School to decide who will win the trophy this season.
Mater Dei claimed their first ever Wagga schoolgirl softball title last season and head into the final with a win over their grand final opponents under their belts already this year.
However it was a close contest throughout with Mater Dei coming through to take the result 3-2.
Mater Dei will look to big performances from the Hall sisters, Paris and Charli, along with Jess Wendt and Phoebe Wadley, all of whom are in good form with their club side Turvey Park in the Wagga softball competition.
Kooringal High have a host of top grade players from the local competition, including recently selected Combined High School player, Anneka Piercy, and fellow Riverina CHS representatives, Kayla Horne, Jess Wild, Makaide Gale, Ruby Thornely and Alex Maiden.
The outcome of the clash could well be decided by whether the young Kooringal side can hit the Paris Hall pitch safely.
Meanwhile Wagga High School will play The Riverina Anglican College (TRAC) in the play-off for third.
TRAC have found the going tough this season and realistically shouldn't provide too much trouble for Wagga High with only a couple of players who actually play in the local competition.
Wagga High will look to Riverina representatives, Makaylee Little, Leila Wadley, Sophie Gooden and Bella Hofert, to seal the win for them but TRAC is to be congratulated on introducing new players to the game.
Their clash with scheduled for 4.30pm with the final at 5.15pm.
