Detective Inspector Adrian Telfer said police executed a search warrant on Brooks Circuit in Tolland on Thursday.
"Over the course of a number of hours there we recovered what we believe is an amount of stolen property from a number of stealings and break and enters across Wagga," he said.
"If you have had a mobile phone stolen in the past 12 months, please come forward to police.
"We have a number of handsets here at the police station; we are sifting through all that property [on Friday] to try and identify the owners of those telephones but that process can be [sped up] if people come forward, come in and have a look if the mobile phones are yours."
Inspector Telfer said police also found a replica Glock pistol at the property.
"I do stress that it was a replica but that is an offence in itself but we have some testing to do on that to make sure it fits the bill of a replica firearm," he said.
"We found what is generally phrased as a 'Gel Blaster' rifle and some firearms parts."
Gel Blasters fire water-filled gel capsules like a paint ball gun but are usually manufactured to closely resemble military firearms.
NSW Police determined in late 2018 that Gel Blasters were firearms and their realistic appearance could also constitute a replica firearm offence.
Inspector Telfer said police had so far confirmed that two of the phones were stolen in a break and enter from a business on Cheshire Street that occurred in November.
OTHER CRIME NEWS:
"We have been investigating that break and enter for a few months now and we went to this address [on Thursday] looking for these two phones but we found many more," he said.
No arrests have been made but Inspector Telfer said police knew the identity of the resident at the property that was raided.
"We do know the resident that lives there and we still have a lot of property to go through but then we will be looking to speak with those involved," he said.
"We have got to confirm all the property we have got. It would be premature to speak with him too early.
"We will be catching up with that individual, certainly."
