Police have charged a man after he was allegedly found with a hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of drugs on the Hume Highway.

Traffic and Highway Patrol officers allegedly detected a grey Toyota Hilux with South Australian registration plates travelling more than 50km over the speed limit on Thursday afternoon in Bookham, near Yass.
The ute was stopped by officers and the driver allegedly tested positive to a roadside drug test.
Hume Police District officers searched the vehicle where they found and seized cannabis, cash and two bags of cocaine.
The street value of drugs seized exceeds $300,000.
The 26-year-old man was arrested and taken to Yass Police Station, where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug and traffic offences.
He was refused bail and is due to appear before Goulburn Local Court Friday, February 28.
