Fetongi Tuinauvai, who was then the Wagga Kangaroos centre, will be sentenced for one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on April 7 in relation to a player from the opposite team.
He pleaded guilty to the charge before the Wagga Local Court on Monday.
The charge arose from an incident during a Group Nine match between Kangaroos and the Temora Dragons at Wagga's Equex Centre during the round 14 clash on July 21, 2019.
While the criminal charge is yet to be finalised, Tuinauvai was barred for 21 games by the Group Nine judiciary, before having his sentence reduced on appeal to 10 weeks.
