A man in his seventies was rushed to Wagga Base Hospital on Sunday after a car crash on the northern end of Leavenworth Drive in Mount Austin.

Ambulance were called for help at 12.15pm and paramedics rushed the elderly man to hospital.
An ambulance spokeswoman described the man's condition as "stable", saying that hospital staff would continue to look after his wounds.

Paramedics also tended to two other men in their twenties who were involved in the crash, but they received only minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Three ambulance crews arrived on the scene, which was cordoned off by Wagga police officers.
The two cars were removed from the road and by 2pm that afternoon the road was fully cleared.
