Tanami Express's return to the track will be one of the highlights of a 10-race twilight card.
Tanami Express will take on some much more experienced greyhounds in the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Grade 4-5 Stakes (400m), where he is drawn box four.
The exciting greyhound broke the 320m Wagga track record at his third start and remains unbeaten after four.
The Rock trainer Brian Smith has been patient with Tanami Express, who has not run since January 10, and will wait until after Sunday's run to determine a path forward.
"I've got a few things in the back of my head but I'll know more after Sunday," Smith said.
"They're not machines, I don't have to run him every week. I don't need to flog him, he's not even two years old yet.
"If he does everything right he should beat them but you never know. He's drawn box four, starting on a bend and he's racing against better dogs this time, too, who have all won more races."
