The Spackman stable will be represented by Takissacod and Jaytee's The Fox in the $150,000 SDRA Country Championships Qualifier (1400m) at Albury.
Spackman won the Qualifier in 2018 with O' So Hazy and ran second in the inaugural edition with Yet Tobe Convinced.
He is happy to be taking two live chances into this year's Qualifier.
"I'm very happy to have the two there," Spackman said.
"Obviously we started with five, we lost two to another trainer and one just didn't make it so it's not a bad effort for a small stable to get two in it.
"You see a lot of other blokes go and buy tried horses for it, we haven't bought horses for it, we've had horses come through, worked them through our systems and got them there on our merits."
Bryan Murphy will take the ride on Takissacod from barrier one, while Jake Duffy will be aboard Jaytee's The Fox from the outside gate.
Spackman believes Jaytee's The Fox is the best of his two chances despite the wide gate.
"I honestly believe that Jaytee's The Fox is my best chance," he said.
"But in saying that, Takissacod deserves her shot at it. She went from winning at Grenfell maiden to running third in town so she knows how to try, where as he probably lacks a little bit of will. She just naturally tries her guts out."
Breeder and owner Noel Penfold enjoyed Championships success with O' So Hazy and is back for more with Takissacod.
"It's been really good. It's a great concept and it's really exciting to have another runner," Penfold said.
"I think she'll go alright. I think if she can get towards the front she should go alright. It's a pretty open race so hopefully she gets things her way and you never know."
Takissacod is a $23 chance with TAB, while Jaytee's The Fox is $34.
Jaytee's The Fox goes into the race first-up but won a barrier trial at Wagga on Australia Day. Takissacod goes into the race second-up after being beaten 14 lengths by Ilovesaki in the Championships Preview at Albury.
