A man is in custody after allegedly setting fire to a Tumut property after a domestic dispute.

Emergency services were called to Lambie Street in Tumut around 4.50am on Monday, where they discovered a shed at the rear of a house was on fire.
The blaze was extinguished and officers from the Riverina Police District established a crime scene at the premises.
A 46-year-old man, who police said is known to the residents of the property, was arrested and taken to Tumut police station.
Officers allegedly found a lighter concealed within the man's clothing.
He was then charged with intimidation and damaging property by fire.
He will face Young Local Court on Tuesday after being refused bail.
