Talented Griffith brothers Theo and Tom Valeri and their ex-Swans teammate Jordan Crowe are set to provide a handy boost.

The trio join Guy Orton in making the switch to the Farrer League club.

"I've seen Theo play a bit, he's pretty handy. He's quick, skilful and got a long kick on him," Steele said.

"I haven't been able to see much (of Griffith) but Guy has filled me in on them and said they're pretty handy.

"They'll probably be utilities for us, we'll wait and see how we're looking with other players before we decide where to use them. But they give us a bit more youth coming through and direction."

Theo Valeri was a regular first grade player for the last two seasons at Griffith but was dropped for last year's grand final.

He then featured in Griffith's reserve grade premiership with Tom (who kicked the winning goal for the Swans) and Crowe, who was also among the Swans' best in the decider.

Crowe also played seven senior games for Griffith while Tom has switched between first and reserve grade for the past three years.

In their early-to-mid 20s, the trio will inject plenty of experience, depth and versatility to Coleambally, with the ability to play virtually anywhere.

Coleambally have also picked up Reece Borg after he claimed Tumbarumba's best-and-fairest in the Upper Murray League, and landed former South Barwon footballer, Campbell Buchanan, who has moved to the area from Geelong.

"He's played as an on-baller-forward (in the Geelong League reserves) but he's had a year off footy after an ankle injury," Steele said.

"He's been coming to training a bit, hopefully we can get a bit of fitness into him and he could be good for us."

The Blues will have an intra-club game early next month before a practice match against Jerilderie on March 14.

Steele expects they'll have a better idea of how they'll line up then, but is excited at the prospect of getting the season underway on April 4, at home against Marrar.

"We're very happy with how everything's panned out. We thought with Mitch (Carroll) and Graham (O'Connell) it might be a bit of a struggle to recruit some players," Steele said.

Young Blues forward/ruckman Jack Cullen has also moved on, to North Albury in the Ovens and Murray League.

"But it's come along well, we've signed a few and we're looking forward to it. Having Guy on board has been good, the young guys are enjoying having him around at training. And now we've signed these few, it's good," Steele said.

Adding to the exodus from Griffith, the Northern Jets have submitted a clearance for Toby Blissett, who was a key figure in their 2017 and 2018 campaigns, playing 35 senior games in those two seasons.
