Another two clubs have submitted their entry packs for the lucrative pre-season event on February 28 and 29.
Griffith Black and Whites, who announced brothers Andrew and Uafu Lavaka as their co-coaches last week, have added to the Group 20 contingent heading to Ron Crowe Oval.
Group 11 finalists Forbes have also come on board.
However Group 20 premiers Darlington Point Coleambally have withdrawn due to personal reasons.
Leeton have also confirmed their interest, which would leave just one spot available if they were to commit.
As it stands, organiser Nicole Wood anticipates one team will be given a second chance after the first round of action.
"We're up to an even 14 now, which is good," Wood said.
"If we stay at 14 we will have the 'best loser' from Friday night make it through to play in the quarters on Saturday."
The 14 teams is already an improvement on numbers for last year's event.
Group Nine clubs Southcity, Kangaroos, Temora and Young are locked in for this year as are defending champions, Canberra Raiders Cup club Goulburn Workers, with five competitions to be represented.
With numbers still yet to be fully finalised, Wood now plans to have the draw completed on Wednesday, February 19.
