LAWSON continued its dominance of Kooringal High School's annual swimming carnival after retaining their champion house crown at Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre on Wednesday.

Hannah Nielsen (16 years girls), Hugh Schmetzer (senior boys) Mia Graham (14 years girls), Marek Malzenski and Luke Lawrence (16 years boys) all claimed age champion titles after also doing so last year.
"We were pretty happy with the carnival, it was looking early in the week that we might get a storm but the weather held off and there was great involvement from the kids," sports coordinator Brayden Skeers said.
"There was also a staff versus students water polo match, and the staff were too good."
