Whereyabinboppin is undefeated in five starts for Junee trainer-driver Steve Harris but has been transferred to the Kennedy stable.
Breeder and owner Troy Saddler said the decision surrounded the ability to utilise a water walker at Kennedy's Euroley property.
"It will be better for the horse," Saddler said.
"Kennedys have a water walker, which will be good for him with how dry it is."
Whereyabinboppin trialled at Junee on January 29, for Harris, and won in a mile rate of 2:00.8. They came home in a slick final quarter of 27.9 seconds.
Saddler expects the four-year-old to make his stable debut for Kennedy in the next 'two to three weeks'.
"He should return in the next two to three weeks," he said.
"We might take him to Menangle first up."
Saddler confirmed the Million Dollar Pace is firmly on Whereyabinboppin's radar, with plans to head to the Queensland winter carnival after that.
The conditions of the new $1 million race make qualifying tricky. The series is restricted to horses with a rating of 70 or less, with Whereyabinboppin holding a rating of 61.
Saddler is looking forward to Whereyabinboppin's return.
"I can't wait. It was hard to put him in the paddock for a while," he said.
"He will return in the next couple of weeks and we've got nine points to play with. We'll probably take him to town, or where the prizemoney is the most. There is a penalty free invitational at Menangle we'll look at, and we might even only give him a couple of starts."
The Riverina and South West heats of the series will be conducted at Leeton (May 8), Young (May 12) and Wagga (May 15). The quarter final will be held at Wagga on Sunday, May 24. The first two horses home in the quarter-final will automatically qualify for the $1 million final at Menangle on May 31.
Saddler races Whereyabinboppin with friends and family after purchasing the horse back off clients from the Anthony Butt stable.
Butt purchased the horse off Saddler, who retained a 40 per cent share, but he was able to buy him back after Whereyabinboppin disappointed in his three starts for his new connections.
Some of those connections chose to stay in the horse.
Saddler is also looking forward to the return of his little brother, Teninthebin, who is a two-year-old he holds a big opinion of.
