Forrest Street in Lake Albert, was covered with water near its intersection with Brunskill Road after heavy rain hit Wagga on Monday.
Despite the rain, by 4pm the State Emergency Services in Wagga had not received any calls for help.
By 4.30pm, 2.2 millimetres of rain had fallen on the Bureau of Meteorology office at Forest Hill, as heavy showers and storms hit the Riverina.
Other areas recorded much heavier falls. At Junee Reefs, 21mm fell in less than an hour on Monday afternoon.
