Organisers have estimated that more than 600 adults and 400 children attended Henty's 116th show.
Henty Show Society secretary Kerry Small said the show had trouble attracting crowds when the weather was at 40 degrees or more on previous years.
"Attendance was up, mainly due to the weather," she said.
"We have two big claret ash trees where we set up a stand for performers...we had heaps of peoples sitting under the trees."
The crowds enjoyed live music and a performance by contortionist 'Bendy Em'.
"She folded herself into a 20-inch box. I saw her do it," Ms Small said.
The show also featured whip cracking, sheaf tossing and dog jumping and a field of craft judging that remained strong despite a difficult season.
"For a year that was a drought, the flowers and plants were astonishing," Ms Small said.
