Rising star Jamie Mooney broke five individual records at Mater Dei Catholic College's swimming carnival on Thursday night.

The young gun set Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre alight with some outstanding performances on his way to the 16 years boys age champion title.
Mooney set new times for the boys opens 200m, 100m and 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly. He was also part of the Webber team that broke the senior boys relay record.
Annabella Storer (girls 100m freestyle) and Chloe Donelan (50m backstroke) also broke records on the night.
It was another successful carnival for Mater Dei, with Webber being crowned champion house for a second year in a row, narrowly ahead of Sherrin.
Rosarie took out the house chants.
