Temora kicked off their recruitment campaign this week with the signings of four players from outside the region.

Recently-retired Canberra Demons excitement machine, Faul, headlines the quartet after only walking away from the NEAFL in September.

He will be joined by fellow Canberra-based footballers Haydn Richardson and Matt Kelly, while Simon Quinn joins Temora from Wollongong Lions.

Wooden predicts Faul will be a huge asset for both Temora and the Farrer League.

"I can't wait to see him play," Wooden said.

"From all reports from Richo and a few Canberra boys, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with in the forward line.

"He could probably play in the midfield for us too but to have him one on one in the forward line for us, I can't wait. There's huge raps on him but he's got it there."

Faul, 23, spent the last six seasons in the NEAFL, which started out with the Giants Academy in 2014.

He played 18 NEAFL games for the Giants and Ainslie before becoming a foundation member of Canberra Demons, where he went on to play 51 games.

Faul kicked 38 goals over the past two seasons, including five against Sydney University and two lots of four against the Swans and Giants.

He retired from the NEAFL at the end of last year citing the need to take a break from football as his reason. He is likely to line-up at centre-half-forward or full-forward and form a potent attack alongside Jacob Turner and Matt Harpley at Temora.

Richardson is the brother of Temora's best and fairest winner, Max, and will provide another midfield option for the Kangaroos.

Kelly is a speedster that has been in and out of senior football at Belconnen, while Quinn will slot in across half-forward after moving to Young.

All four trained at Temora last week and were quick to impress at their new club.

The quartet are timely recruits for Temora and loom as logical replacements for the likes of Sam Jensen, Kieran Shea, Luke Gerhard and Joe Tegart who have moved on over the off-season.

There was also some doubt surrounding the availability of Turner, but he is expected to be at Temora until mid-season before a proposed move to Queensland.

Temora have also made an application to AFL Riverina's League Equalisation Panel (LEP) for more player points for this season.
