Or at least that's what the students at The Riverina Anglican College thought.
Participation was high given the hot conditions at the school's successful swimming carnival at the Oasis to end the first week back at school.
Despite soaring temperatures, head of communications Caroline Wilson declared the annual carnival a success.
"It was actually a well attended carnival and the students were super eager to race," Wilson said.
"The participant rate was quite high."
Alethea Levy was a new face who helped Browning defend their crown in the house competition.
Levy was one of two record breakers on the day as she set new marks in the 12 year girls 50 and 100 metre freestyle events on her way to taking out the age championship.
William Beggs set a new record for the fourth straight year, correlating to each carnival he has been apart of, as he set a new mark in the 15 years 50 metre freestyle on his way to another age championship.
Both played a big role as Browning went back-to-back in the house competition after ending Fox's five-year streak last year.
"Browning house were the reigning champions from last year and were successful again this year," Wilson said.
"We've got some very strong swimmers in Browning and the students who broke the records are from Browning house as well so they've really cleaned up."
