As part of her involvement with Sydney's nationwide talent development program, the 18-year-old has organised a 'bangerz for the bushfires' concert at the school on Saturday night.
Beginning at 5pm, the concert will showcase eight local acts - including a couple of big bands, a DJ and Ms St John's own acoustic sessions.
"I think there's a lot of young talent in Wagga, it's amazing," Ms St John said.

With performers aged between 16 and 25, Ms John said they had been eager to volunteer their Saturday night.
"I know a lot of them from being in the music scene in Wagga, so I messaged them to say I would be doing this and they all wanted to get involved," Ms St John said.
While Ms St John will be the headlining act on stage, she had joined forces with fellow former student Kane Davey to provide the behind-the-scenes magic.
Last year, Mr Davey topped the state for the HSC entertainment course and is keen to put his skills to good use.
"Wagga has given me so much, and so has this school [Kooringal High]," Mr Davey said.
"It's so important to do something to help when our neighbours are impacted by disasters on a large scale like this. This is just the best way we can help using the skills we have.
"Music is an international language, so there are no barriers to enjoying this kind of event."
The organisers have decided to make the cost of each ticket just $5 to accommodate families, with the hall holding capacity for up to 300 spectators and performers.
But they hope that through canteen services and voluntary donations, they will be able to raise even more.
"It's good to see the money donated locally, it has a bigger impact then," Mr Davey said.
"When you can give the donations straight to the RFS here, it's incredibly rewarding to see it invested back into this community."
Tickets are available via the concert Facebook page or can be purchased at the door.
