When asked what the audience can expect from the Humournoid Tour, Noble said "it'll depend on where [his] head is at".
"The thing with my shows is they always kind of just go with the flow," he said.
"In terms of a plan, I don't really have one, it's never about a specific theme or single thing."
Noble has become somewhat of a regular to Wagga, delivering a number of shows or filming in the region, and despite the city's numerous icons from the great Wagga beach to the friendly donkeys at the zoo, an unusual feature stuck in his mind.
"The very first thing that I saw when I came to Wagga and the thing that has always stuck in my mind - apart from that trouble you had with the snapping turtles at that lagoon - is that there's a great big tank pointing at the Base Hospital," he said.
"It always makes me laugh, it's not relaxing at all trying to recuperate in hospital and you look out the window and see this big piece of military machinery pointing right at you."
Wagga Beach's new standing as the 9th best Aussie beach hasn't tempted Noble to take a dip on his upcoming visit.
"The problem there is, I don't know how good the surfing would be," he said.
"On tour though you sort of just roll into town, set up the show, perform and off we go - it's not like a holiday unfortunately."
Noble suggests for anyone that hasn't seen him perform before, or somehow missed his face on YouTube, to tune in to ABC's Comedy Channel this Saturday where he airs his new stand-up series.
"I do a half an hour stand-up show, there's no acts or guests or skits, it's just half an hour of me with no break to get a feel for my sense of humour," he said.
Also in the works for Noble is an animated children's film coming to cinemas where he takes on the role of a wise frilled neck lizard who is "slightly mental".
Ross Noble's Humournoid Tour lands in Wagga at the Civic Theatre on March 10.
