After winning the Vicbred Super Series and Breeders Crown finals on her way to being crowned Australian Two-Year-Old Filly of the Year last season, The Rock bred and owned filly resumed to take out her heat last week.
Owners the Johnson family expect she will be improved for the final.
"We weren't sure we were going in the Vic Oaks as we gave her a fair break at the end of last season but saw the fields and thought well we are in," Steve Johnson said.
"She went great and I heard Greg Sugars say no trials and only a short lead up so she will be bigger and stronger for weeks to come.
"Whatever she does on (Saturday) will be a bonus."
Maajida has drawn nine in the $150,000 final as she looks to make it eight wins on the trot.
No matter the result the Johnsons are confident the daughter of Somebeachsomewhere has stepped up to the mark to start her second season of racing.
"We were a bit nervous as you never know but she has come back alright and will be up there with the best of them again," Johnson said.
Meanwhile the Wagga-bred Australian Two-Year-Old Colt and Gelding of the Year Be Happy Mach has been sidelined due to a suspensory ligament injury after a disappointing fourth in his Victoria Derby heat last week.
