Parker ripped through Goulburn's line up, snaring 5-3 off his eight overs at McPherson Oval on Sunday.
It included seven maidens.
Parker joked he'd let himself down with his fourth over where he conceded all his runs, including a wide.
However he secured figures most cricketers could only dream of and for the St Michaels second grader it was a dream come true.
"It's be up and down this year but sometimes it all comes together," Parker said.
Parker has had modest form this season but put his hand up to test himself at a higher level.
He paceman thought playing with a different ball helped get the impressive results.
"It's the first time I've bowled with a four-piece red ball," Parker said.
"I'm usually just a second grader slacker coming in but bowling with a new four-piece for the first time just worked out I guess."
The 30-year-old struck with the last ball of his first over and picked up another wicket with the last ball of his second over.
He then struck with the fifth ball of the third over before conceding his only runs with two singles and the wide in the over to follow.
Parker responded with two maiden before starting both his seventh and eighth overs with a wicket.
Parker was just trying to mix things up and it keep paying off.
"I bowl a bit of variation, I try to swing it both ways sometimes and have a change of pace," he said.
"I use a lot of slower balls and everything I tried came off. I couldn't go wrong."
It was part of Wagga's comfortable win.
Nathanael Mooney backed up after scoring his maiden first grade session to excel with both ball and ball.
He picked up 3-23 as Goulburn were bowled out for 121.
Mooney then top scored with 32 as Wagga chased down the total in the 28th over with four wickets to spare.
Macaulay Armstrong chipped in with 27.
However after forfeiting their first clash against Cootamundra, who were beaten by Goulburn, they've missed a place in the final on February 23.
