Mr McGinn has organised a number of buses to deliver patrons to and from the Tumba Cup race day event at a cost of $110 per head.
"This price will not only give those people a way in and out of town, but there will be beer on board and the money will go directly to Tumarumba to help them rebuild from the fires," he said.
"We will be handing over the cheque of whatever the value comes to on the day so people can be assured their money is going where it is needed."
Aside from the direct donation, Mr McGinn said the idea aims to bring business to the town as well.
"We want to target football clubs, contractors, businesses and such who can wear their shirts with logos to prove their support is there," he said.
"People need to remember that big towns need little towns to survive."
While every dollar counts, Mr McGinn said he is hoping to fill three buses with people.
"If we can fill five, even better," he said.
Tickets can be purchased at the Turvey Tavern and William Farrer Hotel until noon January 31.
Buses will take patrons to the Tumbarumba event on February 1.
