The Brumbies clash with Melbourne Rebels at Greenfield Park on Thursday, their only hit out before the Super Rugby season starts.
With the trial on the Border their only chance for game play before the January 31 start, the full squad will be on deck for a big night.
Allan Alaalatoa expects to spend plenty of time in the middle.
"I'm sure the plan is to get a lot of boys through a lot of minutes," Alaalatoa said.
"The more minutes we get individually the better for us going forward.
"Seeing as we only have one trial as a club we need to make the most of it."
After winning the Australian conference, the Brumbies finished one win short of a grand final appearance but they've lost plenty of big games with the loss of Sam Carter, Rory Arnold, David Pocock, Christian Lealiifano, Henry Speight and Josh Mann-Rea, who will play for Harden this season, leaving a gaping hole in experience this year.
However fresh off his World Cup debut Alaalatoa believes there are plenty of new faces ready to make their mark.
"We had a lot of great players leave the club but in saying that we've gained a lot of young, exciting talent and boys who are keen to step up to the opportunity," he said.
"It is a fresh, new-look this year but there is an exciting feel and we're looking to build what we had into this year and if anything do that one better."
Alaalatoa has been impressed by how Darcy Swain has taken on a leadership role with the line out while new faces Will Miller and Solomone Kata bring experience from the NSW Waratahs and New Zealand Warriors.
It was a big season for Alaalatoa, but after Australia's heavy quarter-final loss to England it meant an earlier return to training.
However for the 24-year-old prop believes it will work in his favour for the Super Rugby season.
"We came in for one week at the back end of December to join the last week of pre-season there so it was good," Alaalatoa said.
"In terms of a Wallabies perspective it wasn't great but in terms of the Brumbies franchise it was awesome for us to come back early and connect with the boys before the new year.
"To come back in January having already met, we've all become familiar faces so we are able to get the ball rolling."
He's also looking forward for the chance to spread the game.
The Brumbies and Rebels will hold a fan session at Greenfield Park at 4pm Wednesday.
There is also a game-day opportunity at 2pm before the first game kicks off at 3.45pm, with the second game at 6.15pm.
