Tyson and Cody Hodge have returned home after two seasons in Canberra.
The pair played in Woden Valley's 2018 Canberra Raiders Cup premiership before Tyson fell one win short of another premiership with Canberra's under 20s last season.
With Tyson ineligible for another season in the under 20s both wanted to return home and linking with their junior club was the obvious choice.
"Southcity is our home and that is where we wanted to come back to," Tyson Hodge said.
"It is where we taught our trade and wanted to give back to the committee there and are really looking forward to the year."
Cody's last game was the in the Southcity's 2016 grand final win.
The 21-year-old is hoping to shake off a injury-riddled season to put his best foot forward for the Bulls.
"I had a couple of injuries last season, it was a bit of a rough one, but hopefully this season is a bit better," Cody said.
"I'm keen to come back and play with the boys again."
He missed a large chunk of the season after suffering a serious concussion in the under 23s Country Championship final, and also struggled with a groin complaint before breaking his wrist playing in the Koori Knockout.
Southcity football manager Matt Ward is thrilled to have the Hodges back.
"We like to pride ourselves on bringing our juniors up and getting them as far as they can but the guys have had enough there and decided to come home," Ward said.
"It's a win for us."
Tyson's return is a boost to Southcity's forward stocks, especially with Nick Skinner not playing this season, while Cody will be in the mix to move into Jake Dooley's vacated fullback role but can also play in the centres or the wing.
Older brother Jade may also return to the Bulls pending work commitments.
"It's always been a dream of mine to play with both of my brothers in the same team and that was the main reason I came home," Tyson said.
