The designs for the multimillion-dollar relocation to 64 Pearson Street includes the main warehouse, outdoor nursery, timber trade sales and building materials area, a cafe, click and collect services and a playground.
The proposed store, spanning more than 18,000 square metres, will have parking for over 400 cars with main entry and exit points via Pearson and Saxon streets.
Plans also show customers could enter the site via Edward Street and there will be a dedicated bulk trade sales area with pick up facilities for trucks.
Bunnings regional operations manager Robyn Hudson said more than 40 jobs for local residents will be created on top of the existing jobs at the current warehouse located on the corner of Dobney Avenue and Pearson Street.
Ms Hudson said there will also be more than 300 jobs throughout construction, if the application is approved.
"Bunnings' further investment in the area will provide additional job opportunities for local residents," she said.
"All team members from the existing Wagga warehouse would transfer to the new warehouse once complete."
Ms Hudson said the proposed development represents a significant investment in the Wagga community.
"We have been part of the Wagga community for nearly 20 years and we are really looking forward to providing a bigger and better offer to customers," she said.
Ms Hudson said the proposed new site will be almost 5000 square metres larger than the existing store.

She said customers will have access to an even wider range of outdoor living and home improvement products than before, backed by "the best service".
The development application will need to be approved by Wagga City Council before construction can begin.
The new location will be the national retailers' third move since first opening at the Homebase on Hammond Avenue about 18 years ago.
A planning proposal to rezone the land, which was approved by council in November, stated Bunnings Warehouse could not cater for its projected growth at the existing site on the corner of Pearson Street and Dobney Avenue.
It went on to say that relocation was the preferred option for the company in order to meet future demand.
The proposed location, which was most recently used for the retailing and wholesale of bricks and pavers, was selected for its "considerable size, undeveloped nature and its position at the western gateway" to the city.
