THREE grass fires burning in the vicinity of the Gregadoo garbage tip are under control.
Turvey Park's Fire and Rescue station commander Jeff Edwards said the grass fires were burning in a pine plantation on Gregadoo East Road.
He said the fire was in close proximity to voltage power lines, so firefighters needed to get on top of it quickly.
Multiple trucks from the Rural Fire Service, as well as two trucks from Fire and Rescue responded to bring the fire under control.
Mr Edwards said the RFS stayed behind to continue blacking out the fire.
The Fires Near Me app listed the fire under control about 3.20pm
