Wagga City Council's community director Janice Summerhayes said the free holiday film program was curated for children of all ages and adults alike.
"This is an opportunity for families to escape the heat and join us for a free holiday film program," she said.
The kids program features popular movies like Paddington 2, as well as cult films from the 80s and 90s such as The Goonies, The Witches and Steven Spielberg's classic E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
In other news:
Running from January 15 until the 24, there will be twice daily free screenings every Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10am and 2pm.
On Saturday the gallery will screen two cult classics, Dazed and Confused and Everybody Wants Some starting at 7pm.
Although entry is free, bookings are essential via the art gallery website.
The Friends of the Wagga Art Gallery summer film night will screen the documentary Eames: The Architect and the Painter on Sunday at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.fogww.com for $10.
