The Saints were one of the Farrer League surprise packets last season, winning two finals before their campaign ended against eventual champions The Rock-Yerong Creek in the preliminary final.

Centre courter Hamblin, 28, is back in the fold after taking a year off after giving birth to firstborn daughter Billie.

The club is still in the process of replacing 2019 coach Matt Scofield, who will be at the helm of Marrar Bombers this year.

"It will be hard work coming back after a baby. Pre-season starts next week (Tuesday) so we'll see how it works out," Hamblin said.

"I'm not totally sure who's playing for us. I think there's potentially a couple coming back that were in our side a couple of years ago, others who had babies too or went to other clubs.

"I'm pretty sure Sarah Reardon, who had a baby around the same time as me, is coming back into the defence."

Hamblin's return should give the Saints a stellar midcourt with last year's skipper Margie Johnson a standout in the centre position.

"I might be playing wing attack, I probably won't play centre these days as I'm too unfit for that," Hamblin said.

"I played a couple of games last year at Ganmain (Grong Grong-Matong) because they had a lot of injuries."
